This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy“) governs the data collection practices of Engage AI. (“Company“, “we“, “us”) that we use in connection with your use of our website domain at https://engage-ai.co/engage-ai and services.
The Company respects its users’ privacy and makes every effort to provide a Service that meets industry standards. This Privacy Policy provides important and transparent disclosures on how and why we collect, share and use our users’ data, and we encourage you to read the Privacy Policy carefully prior to using our Extensions or Service, and to use it to make informed decisions.

When you register for an account, you provide us with a valid email address and may provide us with additional information, such as your name or billing information.
Depending on how you use our website or services, we may also receive information from external applications you use to access our Website, or we may receive information through various web technologies, such as cookies, log files, clear gifs, web beacons or others.
In common with other websites, analytics data is retained by using tracking technologies such as third-party cookies and non-cookie technologies. The data includes the visitor’s IP address, browser type, referring page and time of visit. Cookies may also be used to remember visitor preferences when interacting with the website.
Tools like Engage AI and Hashtag Analytics also collect LinkedIn cookies, but these are not shared to third parties.
We store only your Engage AI account information (email, licenses, team members) on our servers.
We use the information gathered from you to improve your user experience, to communicate with you about our Services, and to further develop, customize, enhance and improve the performance of our Services and Extensions.
We may track certain passive information received to improve our marketing and analytics, and for this, we may work with third-party providers. As such, third parties like NextRoll may place cookies on the browser used in order to serve targeted advertising and for measurement and analytics purposes.
Unless you instruct us otherwise, we retain the information we collect for as long as needed to provide the Services and to comply with our legal obligations. We believe in data minimization and only keep the information we truly need and only for the period of time required.
If you would like to disable our access to any passive information we receive from the use of various technologies, you may choose to disable cookies in your web browser.
Please be aware that the Company will still receive information about you that you have provided, such as your email address. If you choose to terminate your account, the Company will store information about you for the following number of days: 30. After that time, it will be deleted.

We do not collect any payment information of any kind.
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Use of AI/ML Services and Your Data
Our application integrates with AI/ML services to enhance functionality and user experience. This section clarifies how Microsoft Azure AI, OpenAI and Google handle data in relation to AI/ML models.
Use of Your Data
No Training of Generalized AI/ML Models: Your data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or ML models.
No Transfer for Model Training Purposes: While your data may be transferred to third-party AI tools (e.g., Azure AI services) for processing, we do not authorize these third parties to use it for training any AI or ML models. This restriction is also enforced under the internal terms and privacy policies of these third parties.
Purpose of AI/ML Data Use
Any data shared with AI/ML services is used solely to process specific user requests. It is not retained or repurposed by third-party providers for training or improving their own AI models.
We are committed to ensuring that all data usage aligns with our privacy policies and does not contribute to the development of generalized AI/ML models by any party.
Under the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”), we are considered a data controller with respect to the Services we provide to you, or with respect to the information you provide us as a job candidate. If you exercise one (or more) of the above-mentioned rights, in accordance with the provisions under applicable law, you are entitled to request to be informed that third parties that hold Personal Data related to you, in accordance with this privacy policy, will act accordingly.
Note that when you send us a request to exercise your rights, we will need to reasonably authenticate your identity and location. We will ask you to provide us credentials to make sure that you are who you claim to be and will further ask you questions to understand the nature and scope of your request. We will look into your inquiry and make good-faith efforts to respond promptly.
Where we process PersonalData as part of the Services, as a data processor of our users, we are committed to assist our data controllers to fulfill the above mentioned rights under the GDPR.

We don’t “sell” Personal Data or “share” Personal Data for cross-contextual behavioral advertising (as those terms are defined under applicable local law). We also don’t process sensitive Personal Data for the purposes of inferring characteristics about a consumer.
Exercising Your Rights. To the extent applicable under local law, you can exercise privacy rights described in this section by submitting a request to legal@engage-ai.co.
Verification. In order to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, change, or deletion, we may require you to verify your credentials before you can submit a request to know, correct, or delete Personal Data. If you do not have an account with us, or if we suspect fraudulent or malicious activity, we may ask you to provide additional Personal Data and proof of residency for verification. If we cannot verify your identity, we will not be able to honor your request.
Authorized Agents. You may also submit a rights request through an authorized agent. If you do so, the agent must present signed written permission to act on your behalf and you may also be required to independently verify your identity and submit proof of your residency with us. Authorized agent requests can be submitted to legal@engage-ai.co.
Appeals. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to appeal a decision we make relating to requests to exercise your rights under applicable local law. To appeal a decision, please send your request to legal@engage-ai.co.
Additional Privacy Rights for California Residents
California Shine the Light. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (the “Shine the Light” law) permits users who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, a list of the third parties to whom we have disclosed their Personal Data (if any) for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, as well as the type of Personal Data disclosed to those parties.
